Your environment runs on a dedicated VPS — not a shared container or multi-tenant cluster. Only you can access it, through a private Tailscale VPN tunnel. Your conversations and files live entirely on your private server — we never read them. If you choose Bring Your Own Key (BYOK), your provider key is stored AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest and only used to connect to your chosen provider. Server credentials are encrypted in the same way and never leave the provisioning pipeline.

Every plan supports BYOK. You connect your own API keys from providers like Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or OpenRouter — your usage goes directly through their billing, no platform fee. Alternatively, you can purchase AI credits through us — usage is metered per token with a per-tier platform fee (15-25% depending on plan, see pricing). Credits mode requires no API key setup.

Before closing your account, you can download your workspace files directly from the portal. Once you delete your instance, the VPS and all its data are permanently destroyed — immediately, with zero retention. We don’t keep copies of your data for privacy and security reasons.

Yes. Add your SSH public key in the Settings tab of your dashboard and you can SSH in as the growaclaw user. You also have full terminal access through the remote desktop (noVNC). Root access is disabled as a security measure — your server is yours to use, and ours to keep secure.

We poll your server’s health every 60 seconds. If something goes wrong, our systems respond automatically and you’re notified. No setup needed on your end.

KingClaw and MegaClaw plans include a visual workflow automation engine running on your server. You can build scheduled tasks, webhook-driven pipelines, and multi-step integrations — all managed by your AI assistant through a built-in skill. NanoClaw and MiniClaw don’t include this feature due to memory constraints.

You can upgrade at any time — contact our support team and we’ll move you to a higher-tier server with minimal downtime. Downgrades are not supported because your workspace, configurations, and services are built around your plan’s storage and memory allocation — shrinking those resources could cause data loss or service instability.

Choose from 13 providers and 40+ models in the marketplace — Claude, GPT, Gemini, Kimi, DeepSeek, xAI Grok, Doubao, Z.AI, Qwen, Xiaomi MiMo, MiniMax, Stepfun, and OpenRouter. Image generation is available via GPT Image, Gemini Image, and Grok Imagine. You can also bring your own API key. More powerful models consume credits faster; your dashboard shows real-time usage.

No. Because each sign-up provisions a real dedicated server, we can’t offer free trials. However, there are no contracts — you can cancel any time, and billing is monthly (or annual with 20% off).
